About Dr. Jim

I am a life - long learner and have earned a doctorate degree, but I am not a real doctor, nor did I ever play one on TV. For more than 20 years I have been speaking professionally. I am an ordained minister (what I call my altar ego) and served growing churches and as a national staff executive. I have experienced first-hand the healing power of a sense of humor and have seen how it helps people. This is why I don’t just speak about what humor can do for you but show you how to develop your own sense of humor to help you be more resourceful, creative, fun loving and productive.

I am also a life - long laugher, my personal mission is to help people laugh and learn. I live in Toronto, Canada with my wife Jackie, very near where I was born and raised. Those who said that I wouldn’t get very far in life were … right!

When I speak I bring energy and insight  to either small groups or large audiences. I speak at conferences and workplaces, to corporations, organizations associations and groups of every kind.
